DESCRIPTIONLuserna is a schistose metamorphic rock belonging to the gneiss group. It is extracted from quarries located in the Cozie Prealps of central-western Piedmont. Its use is very ancient and still characterizes the construction typology of the buildings and the street furniture of the areas of origin and of the whole Piedmont, from which, starting from the 1970 , it has had a national and international diffusion.
